AttributeOrder is useful in describing the organization of multiple attributes participating in a single AttributeRole in connection with one or more measures.

Example: 
Consider a situation in which multiple instance variables participate in the same MeasureRole. Here we may want to associate different attributes with each of the instance variables. For example, we might be using a ViewPoint to create a temporal graph in which instance variables associated with the same Conceptual/Represented Variable change over time as happens when an enumerated value domain changes over time. In this example we may want several attribute instance variables to document the change. This set is specific to just one instance variable in the MeasureRole. We can do this with the AttributeOrder by creating one adjacency list for each instance variable in the MeasureRole. The graph that results from this set of adjacency lists is called a disconnected graph.
